WHERE HAS THE SKUNKS GONE?

There isn't anymore skunks in the backyard.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm glad that the skunks are gone from the backyard.  It was hard to take the pet dogs, Furby the Furball and Elaina Baina, for a walk in the backyard because the skunks got the dogs excited and distracted.  Plus, I won't get sprayed by the skunk's smeller oder.  However, I'm still curious as to what happened to the skunk.  Did the skunk walk to somebody else's backyard?  Was the skunk killed by a deer hunter who confused the skunk for a deer (Don't ask.  Just nod your head and go along with it.)?  Was the skunk run over by a car?  That can't be it.  A dead skunk is even smellier than a living skunk---Even from a distance.  Was the skunk kidnapped and held for ransom (Don't ask.  Just nod your head and go along with it.)?  Perhaps the skunk was taken by animal control experts who doesn't mind getting sprayed by a skunk.  Or perhaps somebody adopted the skunk as a pet animal (Don't ask.  Just nod your head and go along with it.)?  I doubt that I'll never knew the truth about the final fate and destiny of the backyard skunk.
