The known violator of Big Brother’s house rules has done it again. Franzen, a certified pasaway, made a grave violation of the house rules yesterday after writing a secret message to his best friend Jason yesterday. This violation could lead to his disqualification from Pinoy Big Brother.
The controversial letter
Last night, while waiting for dinner, Franzen stayed alone in the boys’ bedroom to write a personal letter to his nominated buddy Jason. After writing it, he put it inside Jason’s drawer, prompting Big Brother to immediately summon him to the confession room and investigate the incident.
In his confession, the self-confessed jologs admitted that he wrote a letter for his friend. Franzen wrote it to thank Jason for their wonderful friendship inside the house. “Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa iyo sa magagandang payo mo at pagbibigay sa akin ng lakas na loob. Narinig ko ang kanta mo kanina at na-inspire akong sumulat sa iyo. Hanggang sa kanta mo, hindi mo ako nakalimutan. Kung anuman ang mangyayari, ako pa rin ang iyong kanan, ikaw ang aking kaliwa. Iyo ang Cavite, akin ang Tondo, joke lang,” the letter stated.
But the most controversial part of the letter pertains to the line “Secret lang to ha! Keep this for me. Franzen kosa.”
Franzen couldn’t provide a valid reply when Big Brother asked him, “Alam mo bang secret message yang ibibigay mo kay Jason? Bawal magbigay ng secret message sa Bahay.”
Under the “Microphones” section of the house rules, it states that “Housemates must wear their radio-mics at all times. Any attempt to cover the mics or to communicate through writing secret messages or mouthing words to the cameras is prohibited. Big Brother may disqualify a Housemate who breaks this microphone rule.”
Franzen said that he’s not aware of any rule prohibiting the act that he did. “Siguro nadala lang ako ng nararamdaman ko Big Brother. Masyado akong nagpadala kaya wala na sa isip ko yung mga ganoong bagay,” teary-eyed Franzen said. The housemate got shocked and became speechless when he read the item in the house rules that pertains to his violation.
Big Brother refused to accept Franzen's explanation that his letter to Jason was not a secret message. “Yung ‘secret lang to ha’ parang sikreto lang sa akin. Kasi ayaw ko nang ipaalam sa mga housemates. Hindi ako yun, magbibigay ng salita sa kanya na sasabihin ko pa sa housemates ko,” Franzen explained.
Big Brother also ordered Franzen to surrender at once all the writing materials in the house that the housemates used in previous activities. He got the pen that he used for writing his secret message to Jason from one of their tasks last Sunday.
Big Brother will announce his decision on Franzen’s fate possibly today or in the coming days
The Pasaway’s other violations
Franzen’s writing of a secret message is not the only violation that Franzen committed in the past two days. Last Monday, Franzen did not follow Big Brother’s wakeup call and took a bath beyond the allotted shower time for the housemates. Previously, Big Brother also nominated Franzen for eviction after committing several violations of the house rules..
