It’s official: The Apple iPad is real. The device, announced earlier today by Apple CEO Steve Jobs, is designed to fill the perceived gap between the smartphone and the laptop. It will be available at the end of March, 2010 in the US. And on June 2010 for the rest of the world.

It’s pretty much a bigger iPod Touch/iPhone.

SNOW RETURNS TO CLEVELAND, OHIO

So begins the first month of my second unemployment crises. I'm filling out two job application forms a day every day. It's not easy to find employment when there's a recession. I keep praying to GOD that the recession will end and the United States economy returns to normal. I refuse to give up. I know I'll find employment again. In the meantime, I shall create a rigid financial budget and I'll stick to it.

ANOTHER COLD WINTER DAY IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

My employment at K-Mart was temporary seasonal employment. With Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day passed, I'm unemployed again. I've been job hunting for the past two weeks. I don't have any job interview offers yet. I'm not giving up. I know I'll be employed again. I need lots of confidence when job hunting. It's a rough economy out there. The recession is getting better, but it's still not helping my employment prospects. I still need to pay off my college tuition student loans. I can't do so without money. Minimum wage employment is my only source of income. Without minimum wage employment, I'm flat broke one hundred percent of the time.

UNEMPLOYED IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

So begins the first month of my second unemployment crises. I already know that my unemployment will be brief. The first unemployment crises last year lasted seven months. I'm going to work hard to make sure that my second unemployment crises this year will be even shorter than that. To accomplish that result, I've made a vow to myself to fill out two job application forms a day minimum. Yes, filling out all those job application forms isn't easy. However, unemployment is even rougher than that. I need confidence in myself that I have what it takes to be a good employee.

FIVE DAYS AFTER NEW YEARS DAY 2010

It's official. We reached the year 2010. This is around the time that we watch the science fiction motion picture 2010 again. Then we compare notes how the real 2010 compare to the fictional film 2010. It's pretty much the same as comparing the real 2001 with the events in the fictional film 2001. You're going to be disappointed. There are no Howard Johnson hotels in a orbiting space station that allows civilian use. There are no manned missions to Jupiter. There are no frequent manned missions to the moon. In fact, there won't be a NASA space program when the space shuttle program is strangely discontinued for reasons I never truely understood. Plus, there's the September 11 tragedy in the real year 2001.
The fictional movie 2001 still has the World Trade Center Towers in perfect condition. In the real 2001 to 2010, we're marching off to war in Iraq, Afganistan and possibly Yemen and Pakistan. In the fictional films 2001 and it's sequel 2010, the United States is fighting a cold war against the Soviet Union. Glasnost never existed in the fictional films 2001 and it's sequel 2010. You could spend hours comparing the real years 2001 and 2010 with it's Arthur C Clark and Stanley Kubrick composed fictional film counterparts. However, I may not want to live in a world where the planet Earth is about to enter a nuclear holocaust after Russia bombed the World Trade Center. Turning Jupiter into a sun may have caused a temporary solution, but I'd still be very nervous.
