WHAT HAPPENED TO STEVEN POST HITCHCOCK IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

I'm facing unemployment again. I was laid off my job at Mr. Hero Restaurant because of the recession. Not much people are eating in restaurants these days. So I'm back to filling out job applications. Yes, it's a setback, but it won't be permenent. I'll be back on my feet again. Nothing much is going on aside from that. It's supposed to snow today and tomorow with ice covered streets. No snow or ice as fallen yet. I'll be ready in case snow and ice to appear.

FINDING OUT THAT A FORMER GOOGLE ACCOUNT AS BEEN DEACTIVATED AND OTHER STORIES

I still don't understand much about computers. Keep in mind that while the internet was in use as far back as World War II, it wasn't in widespread use until the middle 1990's. Personal computers wasn't available for the average home until the early 1980's. Even then, I had to wait until the late 1980's before personal computers was allowed to have an internal disk drive to store information. Orginally, personal computers only had external memory. Still, I'm getting used to the use of computers. It's hard to imagine what life was like without computers. It's days like this that I'm glad for the advancement of technology.

VIDEO: Filipina YouTube Sensation Maria Aragon Performs on Ellen

After a web video of 10-year-old Maria Aragon singing Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" became a massive viral hit, Maria had one request: to perform for Ellen! And Ellen was happy to welcome her today.

WHAT HAPPENED TO STEVEN POST HITCHCOCK AFTER THE SNOWSTORM

The weather reports warned all of Cleveland, Ohio that a snowstorm. Yet, the long anticipated snow storm only caused a small amount of commuters to go overboard with road rage. There were more road rage incidents yesterday than all of last year. Ok, so maybe I was exagerating. At least, that's what it felt like. So now the snowstorm is over. What happens now? I'm still unemployed after getting laid off at Mr. Hero Restaurant because of low business sales. I still need to search for employment. I'm still living in my Biologic Mom's house. I can't move out of my Biologic Mom's house and into my own apartment until my college student tuition loans is paid in full. The world keeps spinning regardless how upsetting falling snow might appear to be. What's wrong with all those creeps throwing road rage temper tantrums about falling snow. Have any of them gone ice skating, sledding, skiing or snow boarding. Have any of those road rage crazy people built snow people or had snow ball fights. There are good things about snow and ice. Not all of it has to be apocolyptic. GOD created snow to be enjoyed and appreciated. Anyway, I'm hoping that there will be no road rage incidents today. Hope springs eternal.

SOMETIMES MISFORTUNE HAPPENS IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

I was laid off from my job at Mr. Hero Restaurant on February 19, 2011 after only one year of employment. Low business was the reason for the layoff. So now I'm job hunting again. With luck, my sudden unexpected unemployment will be brief. Without an automobile, riding a bicycle is still my only source of transportation. I pray to GOD everday that I don't get any flat tires. It will be difficult for me to go job hunting if I don't have reliable transportation. It would be rude and disrespectful if somebody was popping my bicycle tires out of spite. Of course, I'm getting paranoid again. Anyway, I'm unemployed. I need to fill out lots of job applications until employment is regained. Everytime a door is closed, GOD always opens up a window to crawl out of. I need to know where the window is located this time. Stay tuned everybody.

VIDEO: 10 yo Filipina’s cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” Has Gone Viral!

It all began with a quick and surprisingly heartfelt tweet by international pop star Lady Gaga:lady gaga twitter pinay filipino

The subject of the video in question is 10-year-old Maria Lourdes Aragon, a Filipino-Canadian based in Winnipeg.

Just five days after the release on February 11 of Born This Way —the eponymous carrier single from Lady Gaga's upcoming album— Aragon had uploaded a video of herself to YouTube singing her own version of the song.

'Pretty amazing'

In an interview with Yahoo! OMG!, Aragon said that it was "pretty amazing" that Lady Gaga had tweeted about her video.

"Oh, (I posted it) just last night.  I don't really know what time I put it on YouTube but Lady GagaTweeted it at, like, seven in the morning or earlier," she said.

"My sisters and my dad — they were kind of freaking out! They're like, 'Lady GagaTweeted you!'" she added.

When asked what she would like to say about Lady Gaga, Aragon simply said:

"I just want to say that she writes good songs. She has good meaning to her songs and that I really do idolize her."

THE ADVENTURES OF STEVEN POST HITCHCOCK IN CLEVELAND, OHIO

Today, the highest tempreture is sixteen degrees and the lowest tempreture is one degree. Yes, it's cold outside. Thankfully, the tempreture will zoom up to between thirty degrees to thirty-nine degrees. No, it's not summer yet. We have roughly one more month of winter to go. Trust me when I say that I can't wait for warmer weather. Don't get me wrong. Cold weather is great for sledding, skiing and ice skating. I know this weird, but after living in landlocked cities such as Columbia, Missouri and Columbus, Ohio, it's great to live near a large body of water. Yes, there are beaches in Cleveland, Ohio. I don't know where yet. I know that visiting the beach when the maximum tempreture is sixteen is pointless, but even if it's to see Lake Erie frozen over, that will be good enough for me. Is there a beach nearby the public bus routes? Life would be so much better if that were the case.
