VIDEO: Daredevil Nik Wallenda Successfully Crosses Niagara Falls on a Tightrope!

Niagara Falls tightrope walk by daredevil Nik Wallenda did not only garner high ratings for ABC last Friday night during the live telecast but also became a viral video on YouTube.

Daredevil Nik Wallenda made history on Friday as he walked the tightrope above the Niagara Falls onto Canada which lasted for 25 minutes.

He was coached along by his father, who sat in a studio and used the wireless microphone to communicate with his son.

The tightrope measures 457 meters and just 5 inches in diameter which spans from US to Canada via the Niagara Falls. The history making event began at 10:16 p.m. ET on June 15, 2012.

Wallenda entered Ontario, Canada, at 10:41 p.m. where he was greeted by his family and a 120,000 cheering spectators.

The daredevil revealed the 3 secrets for his record-breaking stint: prayer, concentration and rigid training.

“I’m extremely blessed to be where I am. Thank you Jesus, my righteous King.” he said after crossing the Niagara Falls.

The feat was the first time in history that someone crossed Niagara Falls on a tightrope.

ABC bested rival networks NBC and CBS during the broadcast of the walk netting around 13.1 million viewers.

The audience at Coldplay‘s recent concert at the UAE became interactive participants by becoming a giant LED display synchronized with the music.

Apparently, each one was given a Xyloband, a LED-illuminated wristbands that can be activated using a radio signal, during Coldplay’s concert held at the Emirates Stadium last June 1, 2012.

A video of holding hands prank made by a college student has amassed 700,000 hits on YouTube in just 2 days!

Andrew Hales, a Utah Valley University student, is best known for his YouTube channel “Losing All Hope Was Freedom.” The said channel is full of prank videos and Hales’ latest creation is a series of “holding hands” pranks.

Titled “Holding Hands With Strangers,” the concept is simple. The 22-year-old will walk along with a stranger on campus, hold the random person’s hand and wait for reaction. While some subjects were not sport enough to just laugh it off, there are those who actually went along with it. The most interesting part was one of those who “allowed” him to do the “holding hands” thingy is a dude!

Hales’ previous works include “Holding The Door Open For People That Are Far Away,” “Almost Picking Up Chicks” and “Staring At People.” All these videos are pranks featuring various reactions from his victims.

“There’s always a few people that are uncomfortable with it and we always ask them afterwards if they want to be in the video,” Hales told ABC. “We just come up with them like what would be funny to do and interesting to film and just what would be awkward in public, you know.”

And did you know that Hales is earning from these videos? Imagine how much profit did he get from ads on these videos and multiply that to 2.7 million hits!

As expected the said video became an instant sensation with over 600,000 hits 5 days after it was uploaded by user Miguel Lugtu.

But this new video shows that the guy with the pink shirt, Eduardo Atilano, obviously from Raymart’s side, hit Tulfo on the head first. This apparently happened right before the infamous brawl. She’s so affected when the name of Phillip Phillips was declared as the winner that she couldn’t help but cry.

The crying girl was recorded on video by her mom and immediately uploaded it on YouTube, with a description that says: “This is our daughter after the results for American Idol 2012 when Philip Philips won.”

A call center agent who should be respectable and efficient to his customer came out to be a disgrace to the industry.

Shan Cruz Rivera, a Filipino call center base in the Philippines disrespectfully entertains customer asking dumb questions whom he called 'security questions'.

He uploaded this video talking to a customer through his Facebook.

Apparently, the guy wanted to be famous. He writes on his fan page, which he created himself:

“I want to be the most famous call center agent in the world. I'm proud of my videos!”

Seriously dude, you don’t wanna be famous for the wrong reasons, for being such a douche bag.

He also posted this yesterday on his “fan” page.

“MY PRE-CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FOR ALL: i shall face the consequences of these "lousy", "cheap", "papansin", "katangahan", "kabobohan" and [place-your-derogatory-term-of-choice-here] actions. i am after all an adult. and i hope that you people will also do the same---be responsible for the consequences of the choices you make, big or small. Merry Christmas everyone!”

I hope he decides on more “adult” choices before doing anything this stupid in the future.

It all began with a quick and surprisingly heartfelt tweet by international pop star Lady Gaga:

The subject of the video in question is 10-year-old Maria Lourdes Aragon, a Filipino-Canadian based in Winnipeg.

Just five days after the release on February 11 of Born This Way —the eponymous carrier single from Lady Gaga's upcoming album— Aragon had uploaded a video of herself to YouTube singing her own version of the song.

'Pretty amazing'

In an interview with Yahoo! OMG!, Aragon said that it was "pretty amazing" that Lady Gaga had tweeted about her video.

"Oh, (I posted it) just last night.  I don't really know what time I put it on YouTube but Lady GagaTweeted it at, like, seven in the morning or earlier," she said.

"My sisters and my dad — they were kind of freaking out! They're like, 'Lady GagaTweeted you!'" she added.

When asked what she would like to say about Lady Gaga, Aragon simply said: 

"I just want to say that she writes good songs. She has good meaning to her songs and that I really do idolize her."
