The First Philippine Popular Music Festival 2012 Winners Announced

The winners of the first Philippine Popular Music Festival has been announced in the finals night held Saturday, July 14, at the at the PICC Plenary Hall with delayed telecast at TV5.

Here are the winners of Philippine Popular Music Festival 2012:

Grand Winner: Bawat Hakbang
Music and Lyrics: Karl Villuga
Interpretered by Mark Santos with the Acafellas
Prize: P1-Million

First Runner Up: Tayo-Tayo Lang
Music and Lyrics: Toto Sorioso
Interpreted by Ebe Dancel
Prize: P500,000

Second Runner Up: Kontrabida
Music and Lyrics: Soc Villanueva
Interpreted by Sam Concepcion
Prize: P250,000

People's Choice Award: Brown
Music and Lyrics: James Leyte
Interpreted by Brown Man Revival
Prize: P200,000
