Enrique Gil Says Kathryn Bernardo is His 'Ideal Girl'

Primetime prince Enrique Gil recently revealed that Kathryn Bernardo fits her ‘ideal girl’ but denied rumors that he has already started courting the “Princess and I” lead star.

Despite his denial, Enrique admitted that his leading lady is close to his heart. “Any guy would like Kathryn since she almost has all the great qualities of an ideal girlfriend. She is super kind and caring,” he shared.Like his role in “Princess and I” Dasho Jao, who is attracted to Mikay’s bubbly personality, Enrique too is fond of Kathryn’s playfulness. He said, “She is so warm as a co-actor. We always joke around in the set that’s why it’s less stressful.”

Meanwhile, Enrique is grateful for their show’s consistent high national TV ratings. “All of the cast and staff’s hard work is worth it because of the viewers’ support to us every night. Thank you very much,” said Enrique who is one of the lead stars of the upcoming Star Cinema film, “The Reunion” where he is co-starring with Enchong Dee, Xian Lim, and Kean Cipriano. Enrique Gil courting Kim Chiu?

“At that time kasi, best friend ko si Matteo [Guidicelli], nag-mall show ako sa Cebu, e.

"Tamang-tama that time, yung My Binondo Girl, nag-mall show din sila sa Cebu.

“So, parang tinext ako ni Matteo, ‘Nandito kami sa Cebu, may dinner kami with the whole cast and family ko, kita tayo.’

“Ako naman umoo after ng show, so kasama ko yung handler ko, nagkita kami, and yun, nakilala ko si Kim.

“Taga-Cebu din pala siya. Dun kami unang nagkakilala.

“Wala lang, I don’t know..." sabi ni Enrique.

“Yeah, nagka-text kami, pero not like I like her... walang ganun.

“Hindi rin kami lumabas, we never went out, basta walang ligawan.”

Daniel Padilla not Jealous Over Kathryn's Closeness with Enrique!

ABS-CBN's future hearthrob, Daniel Padilla is quick to answer that he is not jealous over Enrique and Kathryn being linked to each other. DJ (Daniel's nickname) admitted that he had a crush on Kathryn but to ask whether he is jealous or not on KathQuen team up is absurd according to him since Kathryn is not yet his girlfriend. Here is what he told Vice Ganda on his guesting in the latter's GGV last March 18.

Meanwhile, Daniel's mom, Karla Estrada said in an interview that she's fine with Daniel being vocal with his feelings over Kathryn Bernardo and even approves of Kathryn to be his son's girlfriend. Here's Karla's thoughts about Daniel courting Kathryn:

And I think he's ready na sa relationship.

“I like her [Kathryn]. I think she’s a sweet girl and masunurin naman siya sa magulang.”

Kathryn and Enrique are currently in Bhutan to shoot some scenes for their upcoming teleserye, Princess and I which according to rumors will premiere this April 2012 on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
