Showbiz Overwhelms Marco Gumabao of ‘Luv U’

Marco Gumabao, who plays the lead role of the school heartthrob JB, shared that he has noticed some changes after being formally welcomed to showbiz.

“When I go to crowded places, people notice me, it makes me feel like I should be more careful,” he shared. “My friends, Alfred, Vanjo and I went to school by train (MRT) recently, and it isn’t the same anymore.”

Marco feels overwhelmed with the attention he is getting now and is also thankful for the support of the fans. An incoming AB Psychology major at the De La Salle, he really wanted to play professional basketball but instead found himself in the limelight. But amidst this fame and luck, he never thought of quitting his studies. “I am excited for my first day of classes as a college student. Hope that I can cope with my schedules and taping,” he added.

Meanwhile in “LUV U”, JB’s memory will come back and will be persistent to pursue Camille (Miles Ocampo). But the latter underwent five stages of grief after she saw Honey (Arie Reyes) kissing JB. Will there still be a chance for them?

TRAILER: New ‘Bourne Legacy’ Trailer features scenes from Manila!

A new trailer for the ‘Bourne Legacy’ movie just came out and the scenes that were shot in Manila were featured.  This is the first official full-length trailer for the new Bourne film.

The fourth movie based on Robert Ludlum's novels (though it's not taken from the book called "The Bourne Legacy") stars Jeremy Renner ("The Avengers") as Aaron Cross (or Kenneth Gidson), an operative whose skill set is described in the trailer as "Treadstone without the inconsistency." The movie picks up after the events of "The Bourne Ultimatum," with several actors, including Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Albert Finney, reprising their roles.

First-time "Bourne" director Tony Gilroy (he wrote or co-wrote the first three movies) doesn't skimp on the franchise's action sequences: There's a knockout motorcycle chase featured about two-thirds of the way through the trailer, and the stunt work looks pretty fantastic. The trailer doesn't do much to clarify the plot, but it's apparently still very much about Jason Bourne. The CIA is still looking for him, and everyone freaks out when word leaks that he's made his way to New York (you'll even see Damon's face in a news broadcast at the 1:12 mark).

"The Bourne Legacy" also stars Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton. It hits theaters Aug. 3.

LEAKED PHOTO: Iron Man 3 Villain Looks Like an ‘Ironized’ Captain America!

Iron Man 3 villain is called “Iron Patriot.” Take the first look!

After the success of “The Avengers,” Marvel is prepping up for Iron Man 3 and a photo of the new villain “Iron Patriot” has been unleashed.

If you will notice on the photo, the villain’s costume looks similar to Iron Man but it has the colors of Captain America.

Although the red, white and blue costume looks like a hero, “Iron Patriot” is not. He will be portrayed by James Badge Dale of “The Departed” and TV’s “24″. His alter ego is Eric Savin, a soldier who is gravely injured in a land mine explosion and reanimated as a cyborg called Coldblood-7.

There are also reports saying that the main villain in Iron Man 3 is Aldrich Killian, played by Guy Pearce.

Other villains in the movie include Coldblood, played by James Badge Dale, and Firepower, played by Ashley Hamilton.

Iron Man 3 starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark is scheduled for release on May 3, 2013.

Bianca Manalo confirms breakup with John Prats!

Dalawang linggo nang hiwalay ang magkasintahang Bianca Manalo at John Prats.

Ito ay kinumpirma mismo ng dating beauty queen at Aryana actress sa ekslusibong panayam sa kanya ngBandila kagabi, Mayo 30.

Hindi ibinigay ni Bianca ang tunay na dahilan ng paghihiwalay nila ni John.

Matatandaan na unang naugnay ang pangalan ni Bianca kay John noong Hunyo 2011, nang magkasama pa sila bilang mga hosts ng ABS-CBN noontime show na Happy Yipee Yehey!.

Si Bianca kasi ang itinuturong dahilan ng pakikipaghiwalay ng dancer-actor sa singer na si Rachelle Anne Go.

Ilang buwan ang nakalipas, lumabas na rin sa publiko ang dalawa at inamin ang tunay na relasyong namamagitan sa kanila.

CLEARING SUNSHINE’S NAME. Matapos ang halos pitong buwan na pagiging magkasintahan, lumabas naman ang bali-balitang pinagseselosan ni Bianca ang pagiging malapit ng boyfriend niya sa kasamahan nito sa Banana Split, ang SexBomb dancer na si Sunshine Garcia.

Subalit itinanggi ito ni Bianca sa kanyang panayam sa telepono sa Bandila. Si John daw ang nakipaghiwalay sa kanya.

Sa hiwalay na interbyu kay Sunshine ng Bandila, walang ideya ang dancer kung bakit nadadawit ang pangalan niya sa hiwalayang Bianca at John.

Nagtataka niyang sabi, “Hindi ko alam kung paano lumabas ang balitang ito. Wala akong ideya kung sino… bakit ako?”

Tungkol naman sa lumalabas na balita tungkol sa “sweet photos” nila ni John, ito ang reaksiyon ni Sunshine:

“Sa natatandaan ko, wala kaming pictures ni John Prats, na sasabihin mong sweet na hindi kaugnay sa trabaho. Kung may picture man kami, siguro iyon yung mga scenes.”

Nakiusap din ang dancer na tigilan na ang pagdawit ng pangalan niya sa isyu nina Bianca at John.

JOHN REMAINS MUM. Samantala, sa huling panayam kay John ng ilang miyembro ng media ilang oras bago pa kumpirmahin ni Bianca ang paghihiwalay nilang dalawa, tinanong siya kung may oras pa ba sila sa isa’t isa.

Hindi nagbigay si John ng anumang senyales na may problema na sa pagitan nila ni Bianca.

Ang tanging sinagot lamang niya, “Okay naman kasi mas nakakatuwa naman na iba naman yung trabaho niya, iba naman trabaho ko.

"‘Yon naman, hangga’t bata, kayod lang nang kayod.”

Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa nagbibigay ng anumang pahayag si John tungkol sa inamin ni Bianca

REALLY BIG MISTAKES

There are some things you should never attempt to do regardless of your bravery.  The biggest is if you insist on getting a tattoo when former medical doctor and scientist turned homeless vagrant is employed and on duty, don't tease the guy.  If you tease and bully David Bruce Banner when he's carving a tattoo into your back, arms or legs with a tattoo pen, you're going to end up being stabbed to death in several places with that tattoo pen when David Bruce Banner turns into the Incredible Hulk while still trying to carve a tattoo into your skin.  Trust me when I say that the end result will be very messy.  Not even plastic surgery will fix the resulting damage to your body when the Incredible Hulk attacks you with a tattoo pen against your skin several times.

TEMPER TANTRUM HEROS CONTINUED....

There isn't much multi-film characters dependent on the super-powered temper tantrums as their only colorful action super-powers.  There's the Stephen King horror book and film villain Carrie White from the Carrie book and film series.  There's the Incredible Hulk (Both the comic book, television series and film series).  There's Godzilla (Originally named Gojira in Japan).  There's genocidal apes with human intelligence in the Planet of the Apes series.  Personally, I'd start to get worried if super-powered temper tantrums is the only colorful action super-powers that I'm allowed to have.  There's nothing more counter productive than temper tantrums.  Nothing scares away potential friends than a temper tantrum.  Nothing ruins any hope of compromise than a temper tantrum.  Nothing ruins empathy and forgiveness than a temper tantrum.  Nothing could send you to prison faster than a temper tantrum.  People who throw temper tantrums usually either end up shooting up hallways or become suicide bombers.  If there is a conflict with another person, such a conflict could be settled much calmer and more civilized a manner.  Always remember that the Bill Bixby version of the Incredible Hulk is a homeless vagrant who never had friends, a home or hope.  Perhaps if David Bruce Banner tried to be calmer more often, he wouldn't have so many broken wedding engagements.  David Bruce Banner is a temper tantrum throwing loner who never accomplishes anything because he's too angry to get started.  Maybe David Bruce Banner should adopt Godzilla (Or Gojira) as a pet animal.  I can see it now.  A motion picture entitled The Incredible Hulk verses Godzilla.
