We heard that the Washington born South African rapper, Da Les, is working on his second solo album. Leslie Mempe, who is also the second half of the muthaland-crunk group Jozi was cool enough to entertain the questions we had for him about his upcoming sophomore. We might not have to wait very long for the yet untitled album he told us that, “Right now I’m hella far into the project. I been ready ever since I dropped the first, I’ve just been putting a couple of pieces to the puzzle together.”
Who is on production?
Well, I got two hot new producers on the team. A guy named Ruff, another named Sneja and a couple more suprise producers. I’m also trying to get into producing now so I might be on a couple *sh.
Should we expect any collabos?
Of course from Maggz, L.Tido, Riky Rick and Gotti,who’s new and up in coming on the team.
Are you planning on shooting a music vid?
Hell yeah! A lot too, some for y’all others for online only.
Da Les, born Leslie Mempe debuted Fresh 2Les with the dance floor bangers Fire and Tippy Toes, in 2008. The untitled follow-up will come out later on this year.
