Meet The New Housemates

Housemate #1 is Rudy Fernandez, a multi-awarded Filipino para-athlete, who was once recognized as the fastest Filipino runner during the '70s. Dubbed as the “Iron Man of Asia,” Mang Rudy won numerous awards in different sporting competitions, which made him famous not only in the Philippines but throughout Asia. He's the oldest among the 14 housemates.

Housemate #2 is Bianca Gonzales. This bubbly girl next door housemate is a familiar face on TV. Before joining PBB, Bianca used to host Studio 23’s youth-oriented show “Y Speak!” and ABS-CBN’s “Magandang Umaga Pilipinas.”  Bianca, who is dubbed as “Y-Speaker of the House,” said in her interview last night that although she's excited to be inside Big Brother’s house, she’s scared to be separated from her loved ones. “In general, masayahin akong tao, pero kapag nalayo na ako sa pamilya ko, mga kaibigan ko, nakakalungkot na ako. Pero kakayanin natin yan,” she added

Housemate # 3 is another TV personality with a pretty face. She’s none other than the “Wild Flower of Cebu,” Angela Calina. The multi-awarded TV host is a known figure in her hometown. Apart from her shows in Cebu, Angela has also appeared in several ABS-CBN programs here in Manila.

Housemate #4 is John Pratts. The female fans who were present in Baywalk screamed upon seeing this housemate. John is a former child actor turned teen heartthrob. Aside from his acting prowess, John is also known to be a master of the dance floor that’s why he is dubbed as the “Dance Floor Dynamite.”

Housemate #5 is another certified heartthrob. He is Rico Robles. Apart from his cool sounding voice, this good-looking DJ of the FM radio station RX 93.1, also has what it takes to entice female viewers.

Housemate #6 is “Divang Kolehiya” Roxane Barcelo. Aside from her angelic face, Roxane’s singing prowess will surely make the guy fans admire her more. Roxane has appeared in several teen and drama shows when she was still young. Unfortunately the programs didn’t last long on air.  She hopes to make a comeback in showbiz through her stint in Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition.

Housemate #7 is the "Hunk Daddy" housemate, Christian Vasquez. Christian’s showbiz career blossomed after he appeared in various TV commercials. During his interview with Toni, Christian admitted that joining Pinoy Big Brother was a tough decision to make since it’s not easy for him to be away from his two kids.

Among the 14 housemates, it was housemate #8, Budoy Maraviles, who drew the loudest cheer from the crowd last night. The people got so enthused to dance after hearing Budoy’s Visayan version of “Pinoy Ako.” Dubbed as the “M16 of Samar,” Budoy is the vocalist of the band JR Kilat. With the way he made the crowd chuckle last night, Budoy might just be the Jason of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition.

Housemate #9 is the multi-awarded young fashion designer Mich Dulce. Just like what some of her housemates disclosed, Mich admitted that being separated from her loved ones could be a source of loneliness while she's inside Kuya's house. The viewers should closely watch this “La Fashionista” since she has a very unique personality.

Housemate #10 is Bench’s underwear fashion model Zanjoe Marudo. This 22 year-old “Cover boy of Batangas” told Toni that he joined Pinoy Big Brother to prove that he has more to show aside from his handsome face and sexy body.

Housemate #11 has proven herself in the sporting world. She is the three-time SEA games gold medalist Gretchen Malalad. Aside from being a black belter in karatedo, Gretchen is a certified chick, who is expected to become a favorite among the male fans of PBB.  She is known as the “Karate Chick” housemate.

Housemate # 12 is the controversial sexy star Aleck Bovick. The “Bombshell in Distress” housemate, who got involved in a lot of showbiz scandals, asserts that she’s ready to face any controversy inside Big Brother’s house.

Just like Aleck Bovick, housemate # 13 is also a very controversial showbiz personality. Keanna Reeves has not only rocked the showbiz world but also the world of politics. Her controversial appearance in a Senate hearing last year earned her the title “Kilabot ng Senado.” As early as now, viewers are already expecting Keanna to be the most controversial housemate of PBB Celebrity Edition.

Housemate # 14 is Rustom Padilla.  Just like Roxane, Rustom hopes to make a showbiz comeback through Pinoy Big Brother. The "Prodigal Son of Showbiz" revealed that he’s ready to take on all the challenges that he and other housemates have to face while inside Big Brother's house.
