Snoop Dogg To Star In New Sitcom

It looks like the Doggfather will be heading back to the small screen in a new TV sitcom.

It looks like the acting roles keep pouring in for Snoop Dogg. Fresh off the news of his latest role as notorious Cali pimp Fillmore Slim, the LBC veteran is now slated to star in a new family-oriented sitcom.
According to a recent report from Deadline.com, Snoop has teamed up with veteran producer Don Reo to star in a new multi-camera family sitcom. Snoop is reportedly slated to play the leading role of the father in the as-of-yet untitled series.

Although the series has yet to find a network home, it is currently being developed by Warner Bros TV. Reo and Snoop had previously worked together on the Michael Strahan/Daryl "Chill" Mitchell series "Brothers," on which Snoop was featured as a guest star.
Snoop is no stranger to the small screen. The Doggfather has previously starred in his own E! reality series "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood."
