So I guess the question would be something like this---If immortality was possible, what would you do? Like for instance, if you had the chance to start life with the dawn of pre-historic Earth at the dawn of the cavemen era (Sorry Book of Genesis in the Holy Bible, but I believe in evolution) and keep going non-stop to the year 2011 A.D., what would you do? What careers would you choose? What type of life would you chose to indulge in. What you choose to do all careers at least once or would you just pick one and spend your entire life perfecting it. the benifits would be amazing. It would be great to witness all the greatest moments of history one step at a time. However, immortality would be useless if you can't share it with other immortals. Immortality is useless if there's nobody to share it with. Mortals eventually grow old and die. Friendship with other immortals means that you got a friendship that will literally last forever.
I guess that's why I never related to the HIGHLANDER film and television series. Why would immortals run around the globe trying to decapitate each other. And for what? To be the last immortal standing? Suppose a few immortals chose not to decapitate each other? Who would be around to judge the sudden lack of decapitation going on?
Anyway, I'm getting carried away on a science fiction based tangent. I know that there isn't such a thing as immortality. However, it would be fun if such a concept was possible.
