I'm feeling better today. I'm still uncertain about if I'm still employed at KFC. I'm filling out two job application forms a day to be on the safe side. It's a rough economy. The recession hasn't ended despite Washington D.C. bragging otherwise. I still feel the grip of the recession in how difficult it is to find employment. It used to be that finding a job only took two weeks. Now it's six weeks if I'm lucky and seven months if I'm unlucky. I know that corruption on Wall Street and possibly the mortgage meltdown crises contributed to the recession. Yet, Republicans clain that degregulating Wall Street and corporations hinder economic recovery. On what planet was that possible? Wasn't deregulation of Wall Street and corporations the ailment that caused the recession in the first place.
I'm sorry for the mood I'm in. Job hunting without results can be rough sometimes. Yet, I will survive. I'm hoping that the recession truly ends for real someday. I'm not sure how long anybody could tolerate the recession's damage to the minimum wage employment sector much longer.
