VIDEO: Two ‘Superman: Man Of Steel’ Trailers Released!

After years of waiting and hearing about a darker, more serious tone, we finally have some real footage from Man Of Steel. Director Zack Snyder dropped Superman’s first trailer ahead of The Dark Knight Rises this weekend, no surprise since Christopher Nolan is producing, and it has finally made its way online.

comics_superman_man_of_steel

The tone is a bit ominous and gives us a Clark Kent who is largely directionless and going through the motions. He has to decide what man he wants to grow up to be because his choice will change the world, one way or another. Two trailers debuted, one at Yahoo! and one and MSN. You'll notice they're very, very similar except for one key difference: the man doing the voiceover. See if you can tell who's who.

Watch the two trailers below.

Man Of Steel is set for US and UK release on June 14, 2013.

American Idol Judges to Be Changed Yearly – Nigel Lythgoe

Nigel%2BLythgoe
American Idol Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe has come out with a bright and interesting idea to change the judges panel at least every year. This was after almost every new judge quit the show each year or every other year. Remember Ellen, Kara, Tyler and J.Lo?

In his interview with ‘Idol’ host Ryan Seacrest on his On Air with Ryan Seacrest radio show, Lythgoe said the American Idol may utilize this new format in which it could have a completely different set of celebrity judges yearly or they may opt to do another round based on their availability following a season's conclusion.

"At the end of the day, I think what we've seriously got to talk about is just using people for a year, because if we do want these big stars - and we do - you cannot take them away from what they do. That's depriving the public of a star, for a start, but also stopping them from earning a lot of money. You can always get them back for another year, and I think the public would like that. The public is going to say, 'Oh she's not as good as Jennifer Lopez,' or, 'I don't like him as much as Steven Tyler,' or, 'Aren't they great?!' Either way, you're just constantly keeping things moving and it's interesting to see."

Lythgoe also revealed that Idol's producers have many possible replacements in mind but making selections is difficult.

Although Lythgoe is excited to revamp American Idol and consider trying a new judging-panel format, he admitted he's very upset about Lopez and Tyler's departures and it apparently wasn't his choice to let them go.

However, whether longtime Idol judge Randy Jackson will reprise his judging role remains unclear, although recent reports have suggested he may move to a mentoring role instead.

Rumor has it that Adam Lambert will be one of the replacements on the next season.

Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Francis Tolentino said the Philippines will be the first country in Asia to screen the much-awaited action film, ABS-CBN News reports.

The US release date is August 10.

“We will be screening the movie ahead of the US release. 'The Bourne Legacy' will be shown on August 5, 7 pm in Resorts World Manila. This will be the first premiere, the Asian premiere of The Bourne Legacy,” Tolentino said over radio station dzMM.

The movie is the fourth installment in the Bourne series, which is based on Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne novels.

Some scenes of the film were shot in Metro Manila and Palawan in February 2012. Watch the video of the official movie trailer here.

Aaron Cross and Stephanie Snyder (Rachel Weisz), a doctor who helped create the Outcome agents, must find a way to escape before CIA agent Byer (Edward Norton) can have them assassinated.

Sylvester Stallone's son found dead

stage-moonblood-stallone

Sage Stallone, son of actor Sylvester Stallone, has been found dead, The New York Post and TMZ report.

The junior Stallone was reportedly found at home in Los Angeles. TMZ reports that his father is extremely distraught. The Post spoke with Sage Moonblood Stallone's attorney, who said the death came as a complete shock.

"He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects,” George Braunstein told the paper. “He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy.”

TMZ's sources say the cause of death was a prescription drug overdose.

The Post reports that his mother, Sasha Czack, had also been notified of her son's passing. Stallone made his acting debut alongside his father in "Rocky V." He went on to act in a number of films, most recently in "Promises Written in Water" in 2010 (he also appeared in "The Agent," a short, and in a 2011 television documentary episode on the Rocky films).

Sylvester Stallone was in San Diego Thursday to promote "Expendables 2," his new film with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actors spoke on a panel in Hall H at Comic-Con.

Mom Suing Justin Bieber for Damaging Her Ear!

Mom Suing Justin Bieber for Damaging Her Ear

justin-bieber
Stacey Betts, a mom from Wilsonville, Oregon, reportedly sues Justin Bieber for $9.2 million after she claimed that the teen heartthrob's loud music and screaming fans at concert severely damaged her ear.

In the suit filed in U.S. District Court in Oregon on Tuesday, July 10, Betts said she took her daughter to Bieber's July 14, 2010 concert at the Rose Quarter in Portland, Oregon when she suffered severe hearing loss, tinnitus and hyperacusis – which is abnormally acute hearing — in both ears after the sounds during the said show exceeded safe decibel levels.

The courts papers claim the injury occurred when Bieber climbed into a heart-shaped gondola that pulled him over the crowd.

The complaint states: “Mr. Bieber created a wave like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena. Then enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion, whereas I was struck with a sound blast.”

“Due to their negligance (sic) and my subsequent inability to protect myself, my quality of life has been permanently reduced in addition to the injury.”

The suit names Bieber, along with his record company, Island Def Jam Records; the concert promoter, AEG Worldwide; and the venue owner, Vulcan Sports Entertainment. Bieber and the co-defendants were “negligent” in failing to provide safe decibel levels, Betts’ complaint says.

Jennifer Lopez confirms she is quitting Idol too!

From a report on TMZ.com, Jennifer Lopez just announced ... she will NOT be returning to "American Idol" next season.

jennifer-lopez-idol-leaving idol

JLo called in to Ryan Seacrest this morning, saying, "I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do."

She said, "Something has to give" ... adding, "We had an amazing run."

Lopez made the announcement a day after Steven Tyler bailed from the show. And there is a strong buzz that Randy Jackson may not be coming back either, leaving Ryan Seacrest the last man standing on the show, which has lost a third of its ratings in the last year.
Obviously, producers now have to make a decision that will make or break the show.

Steven Tyler quits American Idol

Steven Tyler is leaving "American Idol" after a two-season run as judge, Fox announced today (July 12).

Steven Tyler American Idol

"After some long, hard thoughts, I've decided it's time for me to let go of my mistress 'American Idol' before she boils my rabbit," Tyler, who judged seasons 10 and 11 of the reality show, said in a statement. "I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I'm back. ... The next few years are going to be dedicated to kicking some serious ass."

"Idol" creator and ep Simon Fuller said that the show will miss Tyler, but "I completely understand his desire to get back to his life as the singer in America's greatest-ever rock band."

Fox has yet to make an announcement regarding the futures of the other "Idol" judges, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, both of whom are still reportedly in contract negotiations.

When J. Lo stopped by NBC's "Today" show Thursday morning, she revealed that she has still not made up her mind about her involvement in "Idol's" 12th season -- although it sounds as if she's leaning toward ending her run on the Fox reality smash, which returns in January. "I've just enjoyed it so much. But I am thinking that maybe it's time for me to go and do other things that I really love to do… but then again, I really love the show!" she laughed.

Tyler and Lopez both joined the reality series in 2010, after Simon Cowell -- along with short-term judges Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres -- left the show between seasons nine and 10.

Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment at Fox, said that it has been a "tremendous honor" to have Steven on the show. "We are very sad that Steven has chosen to focus more on his music," said Darnell, "but we always knew when we hired a rock 'n' roll legend, he would go back to the music." Fox would love to see Tyler back on the show in the future, he added.

In recent weeks, the rumor mill has churned out a number of potential judges for the show's next season, with former "Idol" competitor Adam Lambert thrown in the mix just a few days ago. In a statement issued Monday, Lambert said that if "Idol" wanted to talk to him about judging, he'd "be more than flattered to have that conversation."

Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber highest paid celebrities under 30

Singer Taylor Swift edged out teen heart-throb Justin Bieber as the highest-earning celebrity under 30, taking in $57 million, as women dominated the top spots on a list released by Forbes.com on Thursday.

taylor-swift

Bieber, who brought in an estimated $55 million, was the only male among the top five earners, who included Rihanna at No. 3 with $53 million, followed by Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

"We are seeing a convergence of these talented women who know how to work the system," said Dorothy Pomerantz, the Los Angeles bureau chief for Forbes.

"The things they have in common, obviously they write great hits, are strong personalities. That really helps them from a publicity point of view. They connect with their fans," she added.

Kristen Stewart, who was the highest paid actress last year with an estimated $34.5 million in earnings, captured the No. 7 spot and was the only actress in the top 10.

Stewart, a lead player in the "The Twilight Saga" films, also had a hit with "Snow White and the Huntsman" and is considered one of Hollywood's up-and-coming stars.

Her co-star in the "Twilight" films and real-life boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, came in at No. 10 with earnings of $26.5 million.

"'Twilight' has done wonderful things for these kids' bank accounts," said Pomerantz, adding that they are now making $12 million per film in the franchise. "What will be telling is how they do post-'Twilight.'"

To compile the list Forbes analyzed album and concert sales, movies earnings, profit participation, advertising work and endorsements between May 2011 and May 2012. Managers, lawyers, agents and other insiders were also consulted.

The full list can be found at http://tinyurl.com/6sdbeoy.

Anne Curtis and Alexander Doetsch will be paired up in the Hollywood indie movie Blood Ransom which is produced by Tectonic Films. The movie is directed by Francis dela Torre and is expected to hit theaters in 2013.

A hot teaser photo of Anne Curtis and Alexander Doetsch hit the web lately to promote Blood Ransom. The photo shows a fierce Anne Curtis (with long, black fingernails) gripping a shirtless Alexander Doetsch.

In Blood Ransom, Anne Curtis and Alexander Doetsch will be embarking on a dangerous love affair while escaping the hunt initiated by Roman. Before the run, Alexander who plays Jeremiah, will kidnap Anne who plays Crystal, Roman's girlfriend.

With the photo above, could there be a reason why Anne appeared fierce with those glaring eyes and tight hold? Probably there is a secret behind Crystal's character. Could she be a vampire or something in Blood Ransom? Well, that makes this movie more exciting.

Here is what the 41-year-old Bourne Legacy actor had to share with the mag:

On before he was famous: “I used to hang out at karaoke bars all the time. It was the most fun you could have when you had no money. I went [to Barney's Beanery] twice a week from 1995 until, like, 2002. Religiously.”

On the stock market: “I will never be in the stock market. It’s just gambling. I’m a gambler, but I’ll gamble on the practicality of things. If I’m all-in on a structure, at least I can sleep in the damn thing.”

On how he measures success: “Architecture and building is about how you get around the obstacles that are presented to you. That sometimes determines how successful you’ll be: How good are you at going around obstacles?”

Frank Ocean admits he is gay

Rapper Frank Ocean has opened up about his experience with his first love – a man.

Is it national coming out week in America? Not that this is a bad thing but it seems like more and more people are coming out gay and proud!

Frank Ocean admits his first love was a man. This was just days after CNN correspondent and talk show host Anderson Cooper admitted he is gay.

frankocean-600x340

In his signature style, he somewhat poetically wrote on his Tumblr page,

Whoever you are, wherever you are… I’m starting to think we are a lot alike. Human beings spinning on blackness. All wanting to be seen, touched, heard, paid attention to. My loved ones are everything to me here. In the last year or 3, I’ve screamed at my creator. Screamed at clouds in the sky. For some explanation. Mercy maybe. For peace of mind to rain like manna somehow. 4 Summers ago, I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that Summer and the Summer after, together. Everyday almost. And on the days we were together, time would glide. Most of the day I’d see him, and his smile. I’d hear his conversation and his silence.. Until it was time to sleep. Sleep I would often share with him. By the time I realized I was in love, it was malignant. It was hopeless. There was no escaping. No negotiating with the feeling. No choice. It was my first love. It changed my life. Back then, my mind would wander to the women I had been with. The ones I cared for and thought I was in love with. I reminisced about the sentimental songs I enjoyed when I was a teenager. The ones I played when I experienced a girl too quickly. Imagine being thrown from a plane. I wasn’t in a plane though. I was in a Nissan Maxima. The same car I packed up with bags and drove to Los Angeles in. I sat there and told my friend how I felt. I wept as the words left my mouth. I grieved for them, know I could never take them back for myself. He patted my back. He said kind things. He did his best, but he wouldn’t admit the same. He had to go back inside soon. I was late and his girlfriend was waiting for him upstairs. He wouldn’t tell me the truth about his feelings for me for another 3 years. I felt like I’d only imagined reciprocity for years. Now imagine being thrown from a cliff. No. I wasn’t on a cliff. I was still in my car telling myself it was gonna be fine and to take deep breaths. I took the breaths and carried on. I kept up a peculiar friendship with him because I couldn’t imagine keeping up my life without him. I struggled to master myself and my emotions. I wasn’t always successful.

The dance went on.. I kept the rhythm for several Summers after. It’s Winter now. I’m typing this on a plane back to Los Angeles from New Orleans. I flew home for another marred Christmas. I have a windowseat. It’s December 27, 2011. By now, I’ve written two albums. This being the second. I wrote to keep myself busy and sane. I wanted to create worlds that were rosier than mine. I tried to channel overwhelming emotions. I’m surprised at how far all of it has taken me. Before writing this, I’d told some people my story. I’m sure these people kept me alive. Kept me safe… sincerely. These are the folks I wanna thank from the floor of my heart. Everyone of you knows who you are.. Great humans. Probably angels. I don’t know what happens now, and that’s alright. I don’t have any secrets I need kept anymore. There’s probably some small shit still, but you know what I mean. I was never alone, as much as I felt like it..As much as I still do sometimes. I never was. I don’t think I ever could be. Thanks. To my first love, I’m grateful for you. Grateful that even though it wasn’t what I had hoped for and even though it was never enough, it was. Some things never are…And we were. I won’t forget you. I won’t forget the Summer..I’ll remember who I was when I met you. I’ll remember who you were and how we both changed and stayed the same. I’ve never had more respect for life and living than I have right now. Maybe it takes a near death experience to feel alive. Thanks. To my mother, you raised me strong. I know I’m only brave because you were first…So thank you. All of you. For everything good. I feel like a free man. If I listen closely, I can hear the sky falling too.

-Frank

Ocean’s revelation is seen as a poignant for the rap community, as the genre has long been seen as anti-gay, with GLAAD criticizing artists like Eminem and Tyler The Creator for their anti-gay lyrics. The latter artist, a collaborator with Ocean, tweeted support for his fellow musician’s decision saying, “My Big Brother Finally F**king Did That. Proud Of That Ni**a Cause I Know That S**t Is Difficult…”

Rap mogul Russell Simmons lauded Ocean's decision as a "big day for hip-hop". He added, "I am profoundly moved by the courage and honesty of Frank Ocean. Your decision to go public about your sexual orientation gives hope and light to so many young people still living in fear. These types of secrets should not matter anymore, but we know they do, and because of that I decided to write this short statement of support for one of the greatest new artists we have."
