Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber highest paid celebrities under 30

Singer Taylor Swift edged out teen heart-throb Justin Bieber as the highest-earning celebrity under 30, taking in $57 million, as women dominated the top spots on a list released by Forbes.com on Thursday.

Bieber, who brought in an estimated $55 million, was the only male among the top five earners, who included Rihanna at No. 3 with $53 million, followed by Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

"We are seeing a convergence of these talented women who know how to work the system," said Dorothy Pomerantz, the Los Angeles bureau chief for Forbes.

"The things they have in common, obviously they write great hits, are strong personalities. That really helps them from a publicity point of view. They connect with their fans," she added.

Kristen Stewart, who was the highest paid actress last year with an estimated $34.5 million in earnings, captured the No. 7 spot and was the only actress in the top 10.

Stewart, a lead player in the "The Twilight Saga" films, also had a hit with "Snow White and the Huntsman" and is considered one of Hollywood's up-and-coming stars.

Her co-star in the "Twilight" films and real-life boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, came in at No. 10 with earnings of $26.5 million.

"'Twilight' has done wonderful things for these kids' bank accounts," said Pomerantz, adding that they are now making $12 million per film in the franchise. "What will be telling is how they do post-'Twilight.'"

To compile the list Forbes analyzed album and concert sales, movies earnings, profit participation, advertising work and endorsements between May 2011 and May 2012. Managers, lawyers, agents and other insiders were also consulted.

Taylor Swift and Tim Tebow Reportedly Dating!

The country singer and Denver Broncos QB were reportedly spotted dining together in Los Angeles on Monday, days after they talked at a pre-Oscar party.

This week, Taylor Swift is being linked to a different, non-Hollywood hunk: NFL quarterback Tim Tebow.

Taylor Swift and Tim Tebow did dine together on Monday night, a rep for a restaurant in Century City, Calif., says. But another insider claims the two didn’t seem to be too cuddly.

“I would say they came in more as friends,” the source says. “Taylor came in with another young male and seemed to be with him more than Tim Tebow. However, it was very hard to determine because they all seemed to be good friends.”

The pair was seen having dinner together at the Toscanova restaurant in Los Angeles’ Century City mall this Monday, and the Internet is already full of rumors that the two are more than just friends.

An insider told Clevver Tv that the two arrived to the restaurant together, and “after dinner, he walked her out, and then he walked back in to join two other people.”

However, the source added that “they may have been with their agents,” which could mean that Tebow and Swift had met for business purposes, writes The New York Daily News.

”They were with William Morris agents who are trying to get them to work together in various avenues of entertainment and charity since they are both represented by WME,” another source revealed.

“They seemed very friendly and cordial with each other and were in constant conversation, but there was in no way any PDA.”

“He actually took the conversation outside and walked her to her awaiting car and gave her a hug goodbye,” continued the insider, “But it was all deemed friendly and no flirting was taking place.”

The two were reportedly spotted chatting it up at WME talent agency’s pre-Oscars bash just last week as well.

“They were together for almost an hour,” a source told Celebuzz. “She approached Tim and he looked more than happy to be talking with her.”

There are quite a few similarities between the two. Both are ardent Christians: Tim Tebow prays on the field, while Taylor Swift had a Christian rock band open for her on her last tour. Both of them are quite popular in their respective fields and also make a handsome pair.

Swift, 22, has her own list of high-profile boyfriends and heartbreaks in the past, such as John Mayer, Joe Jonas and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Tebow, who was reportedly linked to Kim Katdashian, on the contrary, has been very vocal about his religious beliefs and is planning on saving himself for marriage, though it has never been confirmed or denied whether he has a girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Swift has offered to take a teenage fan with leukemia to the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards in April, says Rolling Stone.

Kevin McGuire, 18, New Jersey, had started a Facebook campaign with his sister to get the country pop star to be his prom date. Taylor wrote him back to apologize that she couldn’t make his prom, and she invited him to accompany her to the awards show, where she is up for three honors.

In a post on her Facebook page, she writes, “I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up. Would you be my date?”

In the middle of her St. Louis concert when she was singing “You Belong With Me”, her dress blew up. It showed her undergarments for a few seconds, but as a true professional, Taylor quickly smoothed down her skirt.

In a classy display of selflessness, Taylor Swift got a do-over at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Beyoncé brought the teen singer up following B's Video of the Year win.

Beyoncé told the audience about her first VMA win as a 17-year-old with Destiny's Child and how much it meant to her. The singer then called Swift from backstage to huge applause.

Earlier in the show, Swift won the Best Female Video award for "You Belong With Me" over B's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." But during her acceptance speech, Kanye West crashed the stage, took the microphone from her and protested the win, saying Beyoncé deserved it.



B and Swift both wore bright-red dresses and exchanged a hug before Beyoncé passed the mic to the teen artist.

"Maybe we can try this again," Swift said, drawing a laugh.

"I would really like to thank Roman White, who directed the video, and Lucas Till for being in it," Swift said. "I would like to thank all the fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone that came out to my shows this summer. And I would like to thank my little brother's high school for letting us shoot there."

Swift barely had a moment to utter a word during her first acceptance speech early in the show; West took the microphone away from her almost immediately.

"I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time," he proclaimed as B looked on from the crowd, stunned. West later left Radio City Music Hall after he was booed heavily for his rant.
