Yahoo! Philippines OMG! Awards 2012 Winners – Full List

Kapamilya stars dominated the winners list of the recently concluded Yahoo! OMG Awards 2012! After over 4 million votes garnered online, Anne Curtis is Celebrity of the Year.

After 4,102,720 votes cast in a period of four weeks, Yahoo! Philippines revealed the most popular web celebs at its second annual OMG! Awards on Friday, July 6, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Taking home the most prestigious title–the Celebrity of the Year award–was Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis who garnered 86,545 votes beating Shamcey Supsup, KC Concepcion, Sam Pinto and Marian Rivera.

Winning the Major Impact award with 102,827 votes was the Star for All Season, Gov. Vilma Santos. The Batangas Governor won over other contestants in the category that included Dolphy, Sharon Cuneta, Sen. Bong Revilla and Nora Aunor.

The Comedy King–Dolphy–on the other hand, received a plaque of recognition from Yahoo! Philippines for his contributions to the entertainment industry. The icon who is gravely ill continues to make millions of Filipinos laugh and forget about their problems through his films and TV shows.

Globe Tatt Awards 2012 Winners

The Globe Tatt Awards 2012 has been concluded in a ceremony at the NBC Tent on June 29. It was hosted by Georgina Wilson, Petra Mahalimuyak, Miggy Chavez and Gino Quillamor.

Bianca Gonzales won “The One.” The category was described as: “Nothing says "best blogger" like the recipient of this award. One of the most respected, the best of the best—and simply, the awesomest of them all.”

The PBB host attended the event, the reason why she wasn’t at the PBB live eviction a while back. She was congratulated by her co-hosts Robi Domingo, Toni Gonzaga and John Prats towards the end of the episode.

Amalia Fuentes files libel complaint against Annabelle Rama and Bianca Gonzalez!

Sinampahan ng 11 counts of libel complaint ni Amalia Fuentes si Annabelle Rama.

Isinumite ng dating movie queen ang naturang mga reklamo kahapon, Hunyo 13, sa Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.

Ito ay kaugnay umano sa mga mapanirang tweets at pahayag ng talent manager laban sa kanya.

Una nang kinasuhan ng ‘50s actress ng libel ang panganay na anak ni Ananbelle na si Ruffa Gutierrez noong Mayo 7, dahil umano sa paninira nito sa kanya sa telebisyon at Twitter.

Ayon sa report ni Aubrey Carampel sa segment na "Chika Minute" ng 24 Oras kagabi, Hunyo 13, kasamang kinasuhan ni Amalia ang TV host at columnist na si Bianca Gonzalez.

Ito dahil daw sa artikulo ni Bianca na “Love, Laughter & Intrigues with Eddie & Annabelle,” na lumabas sa kanyang column na 10 Things You Should Know About sa local daily broadsheet na The Philippine Starnoong Pebrero 12, 2012.

Ayon kay Amalia, “I will not allow my self to be demeaned like this. And I wanted to stop it once and for all.

Ang tanging naiisip na paraan na lang daw niya para matapos ang paninira diumano ni Annabelle sa kanya ay ang dalhin ito sa korte.

Muli niya rin binanggit na sinubukan niyang ayusin ang gulo sa pagitan nila ng dating amiga, sa tulong ng asawa ni Annabelle na si Eddie Gutierrez.

Sabi ni Amalia, “Gusto ko lang makiusap kay Eddie, na kung puwede sana pagsabihan naman niya si Ananbelle na ‘wag nang magbibigay ng mga gano’ng interviews na so demeaning for people like us.”

Matatandaan na nabanggit ni Amalia ang bagay na ito sa eksklusibong panayam sa kanya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

Kanyang ikunuwento na ilang beses na niyang sinubukang makausap si Annabelle. Halimbawa raw nito ay ang insidente na nangyari sa pagitan ni Gloria Diaz at sa mag-asawang Eddie at Annabelle sa isang restaurant.

“Kaya no’ng mapunta kay Gloria Diaz ang kausap ko, ‘Ay, nandiyan ba si Eddie? Sige, kausapin ko.’

“At that point, gusto kong makipag-areglo, gusto kong ayusin ito dahil alam kong maaayos naman.

“Ang issue ko naman is very mild compared kina Nadia [Montenegro].

“Kaya nga ako tumawag kay Eddie at nakikipag-usap kay Eddie, para sana once and for all, ayusin na natin 'yong gusot na ito between me and his wife.

“'Yon lang naman ang purpose ng pagtawag ko.

“Ang gusto ko nga ay matapos ang mga issues na ito nang hindi na maging public topic,” saad ng dating aktres.

Ngunit ngayon, nang tanungin siya kung may posibilidad pa ba na magkaayos sila, ito ang maikling tugon ni Amalia:

“Ako, ewan ko. I leave it up to God, it’s hard to say.”

KC Concepcion, Bianca Gonzalez latest to reach 1 million Twitter followers

 

And that is both now having 1 million followers on Twitter, and they both hit that mark the same month, January 2012.

KC whose Twitter username is kc_concepcion reached the million-mark right after the New Year.

On January 3, she tweeted: "1M+?? Go fight, Tweeps! Thank you ALL for
being part of my life. You're the KINGS & QUEENS..."

The "X Factor Philippines" host now has 1,025,609 followers.

Then PBB Unlimited and E-Live host Bianca (@iamsuperbianca) followed just today, January 10, now with 1,001,378 followers.

That's only a day after Mykiru released the Philippines' 50 Most Popular Twitter Users list where Bianca is ranked 8th and had 996,415 followers by that time.

Bianca is full of thanks for hitting the 1-million followers on Twitter. "Masayang isang milyon! Maraming, maraming, maraming
salamat sa inyong lahat", she tweeted at noon today.

KC and Bianca are now the 7th and 8th celebrities from the Philippines to achieve 1M Twitter followers, after Anne Curtis in April, Angel Locsin in October, Vice Ganda and Kris Aquino in November, and Sam
Milby and Angelica Panganiban in December.

By next month, let's expect Iya Villania and Luis Manzano to also achieve that mark.
