For her latest movie (Ask the Dust) Mexican beauty Salma Hayek suffered from cold, caught pneumonia, and took a glimpse at Hollywood's homme fatal Colin Farrell private parts.
While interviewed by handbag.com, the actress told the story of some not at all pleasant shootings and praised co-star Farrell for his unexpected elegant manners in nude scenes.
The movie is a love story involving an Italo-American writer (Farrell) and his Mexican muse (Hayek). The stars experienced extreme weather conditions as they were required to shoot a nude scene in the freezing water of the ocean.
Salma Hayek told the reporter: “I didn't want to come out of the trailer because it was cold and I didn't want to take my clothes off. It was a nightmare of a shoot and I really didn't want to do it. They knocked on his (trailer) door and he ran out naked, running and screaming, jumping up and down. Everybody started laughing and it did relax me because I was very nervous. He did it for that reason. It was very cold to the point where we had to stop doing the scene because they took my temperature and I was in trouble. We had to take some special liquids to endure it (
For all of Mr Farrell's reputation, the man never looked at me while we were doing the scene (because his character was proper) other than in my eyes. He never once looked down and I never told him not to. I did take a look (at him naked) but I was not focusing because it was cold. I pretty much got pneumonia.”
Her statement might come as a shock for those used to the gigolo image the British actor has, but sometimes it's more logical to trust a reputed actress than celebrity socialite gossip.
She clarified that the indecent pictures were not taken inside Big Brother’s house. Her ex-boyfriend, Love Thadani, took those pictures a year and a half ago while they were having a "playful moment." “When you love each other, you do crazy things,” she explained.
Chx is still puzzled as to how the pictures proliferated on the net. According to her, she has talked to Love about this issue and the latter has denied that he's the source of the pictures.
Chx recounted that right after they took the photos, they encrypted it using a cellphone software in order not to be seen by other people. Unfortunately, Chx lost her mobile phone inside a taxi cab sometime last year. According to her, someone might have gotten her mobile phone and decided to spread the photos. “Hindi namin (Chx and Love) akalain na lalabas (yung mga pics) dahil encrypted yung files,” Chx disclosed.
The ex-housemate cried as she narrated how the controversy has affected her family. “I felt really bad for my family since they were so ashamed of what happened,” Chx said. She also said that she regrets letting Love take those pictures. (oowsss??)
Chx’s Complicated Love Story
After getting overwhelmed by the numerous questions of the press regarding the picture controversy, the entertainment writes immediately bombarded her with questions concerning her complicated love life.
Chx was quick in denying rumors that she and Love have reunited to rekindle their six-year relationship right after she got out of Big Brother’s house. She clarified that although they still see each other, Love is no longer her boyfriend. “We’re not together anymore but we still see each other. We are still going out,” Chx explained. She also felt bad when Love told several reporters that they’re still together and have not yet separated. (Both Chx and Love were guests at The Buzz last Sunday, where Love said that they had gotten back together. - ed)
As for her new found love interest, Sam, whom she considers as “a very special someone,” Chx said that she’s serious in fulfilling her promise to the Fil-Am cutie that she would wait for him until he gets out of the house to see if they could continue their short-lived love affair. “He’s very special. Sam is a good man, mabait po siya at gentle. I want his love,” Chx added.
Chx also said that she was glad to know that she only received one nomination point throughout the four nominations. “At least napakisamahan ko sila na maayos at wala silang sama ng loob sa akin. Yun na lang ang pinanghahawakan ko.”
Despite all the controversies hounding her, Chx is ready to start all over again. The liberated girl is all set to try show business and, hopefully, become one of the next big celebrities of the entertainment world.
