Zac Efron is coming to Manila for a Fan Conference (FanCon) on September 29!

Made possible by the local clothing brand Penshoppe, the much-awaited FanCon is going to be held at the new SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Penshoppe signed Zac Efron in as one of its international celebrity endorsers last April and news about his visiting the Philippines immediately started soon after.

The Hollywood actor even called his Penshoppe endorsement a “great excuse” to visit the country. His father, who stayed here for a while, has told him good things about the Philippines.

If you want to be one of the lucky fans to see Zac Efron in the flesh, Penshoppe is your answer!

Confirmed: Zac Efron is Coming to Manila!

If Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer and Hollywood sensations Ed Westwick and Ian Somerhalder survived the Philippines, I am sure Zac Efron can also conquer Manila well, loved and alive.

As part of his endorsement deal as one of Penshoppe's All Stars, Zac Efron will be visiting Manila very soon.

This uber-good news was revealed by PR Asia Worldwide on its Twitter account (@PublicityAsia) on June 23.

Zac Efron to visit the Philippines for Penshoppe!

Hollywood star Zac Efron, who recently signed an endorsement deal with local fashion brand Penshoppe, will visit the Philippines soon, a newspaper report confirmed on Sunday.

Philippine Star entertainment editor Ricky Lo said in his column on Sunday that Efron will probably visit the Philippines after he finishes promoting his latest movie, “The Lucky One,” in Australia and Japan.

Lo met with the “High School Musical” actor in Beverly Hills, California during Efron’s pictorial for Penshoppe.

“Well, first of all this is an amazing, amazing excuse to go to the Philippines. I’ve always wanted to visit the Philippines. My dad stayed for a long time in the Philippines and he has been telling me great stories about it. I’m looking forward to go surfing, I wanna dive, I wanna swim with the whale sharks, I just wanna hang around, I wanna…yes, I wanna go to the Philippines!” Efron told Lo.

Asked why he agreed to endorse Penshoppe, Efron said he always loved the Philippines.

“I have a lot of friends that are from the Philippines. They are my Philippine connection,” he said.

“Oh yeah, my ex-girlfriend is half-Filipino,” he added, referring to “High School Musical” co-star Vanessa Hudgens.

On Penshoppe, the actor described the clothes as “cool” and “casual.”

“You see, I’m a very casual dresser. In fact, I’m wearing Penshoppe now…the shirt, the jacket. I’ve read about the brand’s history — you know ‘Buy Filipinos, For Filipinos,’” he said.

More foreign endorsers

According to Lo, Efron’s contract with Penshoppe is “the biggest endorsement deal in the Philippines.”

“We are very happy and proud to be the first ever endorsement deal of Zac in the world. The fact that he chose a 100% Filipino brand is something all Filipinos can be proud of as well. With global celebrities endorsing Penshoppe is a great way in the brand’s effort to go international. Just like when Filipino artists or athletes perform in the world arena, winning at home is not enough. Validation from groups outside the Philippines is also important,” said Bernie Liu, chairman of Golden ABC, the owners of the Penshoppe brand.

Penshoppe brand director Alex Mendoza added: “Zac defines the all-new Penshoppe. From a small brand with very humbler beginnings in Mandaue, Cebu, to being the first endorsement choice of a Hollywood A-lister, we have come a long way. We started leveling up a few years back by taking pains to improve our products. Recently, we spent considerable resources in improving our stores and shopping experience. We can’t wait for Zac to visit the Philippines and meet his fans. He’s sending his love to everybody in advance.”

PR Asia Worldwide head Joyce Ramirez, who closed the deal between Penshoppe and Efron, told Lo that more foreign stars are set to join Penshoppe’s “All Stars” campaign.

Penshoppe’s other foreign endorsers include “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick and Thai actor Mario Maurer, who is also set to do a movie with local actress Erich Gonzales.

After Ed Westwick of the famous Hollywood series "Gossip Girl" and Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer, another big Hollywood star will soon endorse the local clothing brand Penshoppe.

According to PR Asia Worldwide, the same company that brought Ed and Mario in Manila as Penshoppe fashion ambassadors, the "High School Musical" star Zac Efron will also be coming soon in the country to endorse Penshoppe.

Publicist Joyce Ramirez, who confirms the news also posted a photo of herself with Zac wearing a Penshoppe jacket.

Zac was caught butt-naked and even pics of him grabbing his crotch from the hotel’s balcony.

The 24-year-old actor is staying at the same hotel as pop star Rihanna, which features views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House!

Zac is on a promo tour for his upcoming movie, The Lucky One, which hits theaters on April 20.

VIDEO: Zac Efron drops a condom on the red carpet!

Zac Efron recently attended the premiere of The Lorax. At the red carpet, he dropped something while giving the contents of his front pocket to his publicist.

The "something" appeared to be a condom. It's hard to see for sure, though, but he immediately picked it up and put the thing at his back pocket. His reaction gave him away.
