Karen Reyes joins cast of “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto”

PBB Teen Edition Season 4 second big placer Karen Reyes is joining the cast of the ABS-CBN afternoon soap, Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto.

She will reportedly play the role of Sofia and she is seen in the above screen capture with Sue Anna Ramirez who plays the role of Rona, one of Rosalie’s (Charee Pineda) siblings.

There’s no exact date as to when Karen’s character will appear on the soap but reports say the soonest will be next week.

Things are looking up for Karen. I wonder if what they say about runners-up being more successful than the winner proves true with her.

PBB Teen Big Four Girls Guest on ‘Banana Split’ this Saturday

PBB Teens Big Winner Myrtle with Karen, Joj and Jai will join the cast of Banana Split this Saturday (July 14) in scripting out funny and witty lines that will make everyone laugh hard.

The dancing talent of the big four girls will be tested as they portray energetic cheer leaders with Sunshine, Saicy and Aiko on the comedy show’s opening number. Fresh from their biggest stint yet, Kuya’s girls are ready with their cheer leading outfit and pompoms to show their dancing prowess after being watched by everyone via Pinoy Big Brother.

Meanwhile, Angelica Panganiban, John Prats and Zanjoe Marudo will be put on the hot seat in their “Hot Issue” segment. Spoofs with sizzling issues today will also be featured; the rumfus of a talent manager and a former actress, and the retirement of a famous Filipino basketball legend.

Alec Dungo Denies Gay Rumors

Alec Dungo, who was evicted from the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 house on June 29, denied the gay rumors about him.

“Ang gay sa dictionary ibig sabihin happy,” Alec told Vice Ganda who was guest co-host in The Buzz on July 1. “Yes I’m happy but I’m not gay.”

Alec’s way of speaking was perhaps what caused the speculations about his sexuality. He’s a little too refined as well, compared to his fellow male housemates inside the PBB house.

The 17-year-old Filipino-Chinese was also caught allegedly doing something naughty while looking at his male housemates while he was still inside the house. That raised the sexuality rumor even higher.

The teen from Sta. Cruz, Laguna, however, seemed to like Jai Agpangan when he was still inside the house. During the hot seat with the ex-housemates, though, he was asked if he was doing that on purpose only to have a “story” that would keep his character interesting.

On Facebook, Alec has a lot of photos with a girl that was allegedly his girlfriend. And now I wonder why his having a girlfriend and seeming to like Jai didn’t become an issue inside the house.

Gerald Anderson topbills ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya, the longest-running drama anthology in Asia, this coming July 7

Together with Gerald in the episode is PBB Teen Edition 4 ex-housemate Kit Thompson. It seems like things are going bright for Kit who was evicted on May 26 and was the 5th one to go home. Aside from this MMK episode, he’s also reportedly in the cast of the upcoming primetime series, Kahit Puso’y Masugatan.

Such good projects coming his way when PBB Teen Edition 4 is still airing, with The Big Night happening on July 7, the same night this MMK episode will air.

PBB TEENS 4: Roy, Myrtle and Karen officially part of Big Four! (UPDATE)

Roy Requejo, Myrtle Sarrosa and Karen Reyes are now officially part of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 Big 4! Roy recently won the “Big Jump to the Big Night” and enters the Big 4. Karen and Myrtle on the other hand garnered the highest votes thus entering them to the Teen Big 4.

Alec got the lowest number of votes thus making him the latest evictee on tonight’s 9th Eviction Night.

Only one spot for the Big 4 remains. Who among Ryan and Joj & Jai will complete the Big 4? We will find out as the Big 4 is completed and announced on Monday, July 2 on ABS-CBN.

Alec Dungo, the Chinito Guwapo ng Laguna,” was sent packing on tonight’s 9th Ecivtion Night from the Big Brother House. Alec had the chance to “Big Jump to the Big Night” but failed after feeling ill while doing the endurance challenge.

Alec got 5.35%  of the total number of votes this week.

Big Brother gave the teen housemates a chance to make a cover / music video for the summer hit “Call Me Maybe” We can recall that famous Filipino Celebs did a cover of this song a month back and went viral.

It seems that the remaining teen housemates Ryan, Alec, Myrtle, Yves, Joj, Jai, Karen and Roy had a lot of fun doing the video. This was shot before Yves was evicted obviously.

PBB Teens 4: Housemates Vie for an Automatic Slot in the Big 4, Voting for the Big 4 Started!

Before viewers get to vote for their favorite housemate for the Teen Big Winner title, one of the seven remaining housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 will be given the chance to grab an automatic slot at the Big Night via “Big Jump to the Big Night.”

Former Big Winner Melai Cantiveros, who was the first PBB housemate to benefit from the process, will enter the PBB house to personally reveal who among Alec, Joj and Jai, Karen, Myrtle, Ryan, and Roy are the contenders for the sure slot based on the choice of the edition’s ex-housemates.

Evictees Vince, Nikka, Claire, Clodet, Kit, Mariz, Tom and Yves recently entered the PBB house to help Kuya in gauging the remaining housemates’ genuineness by throwing out controversial questions at them.

Among the remaining housemates, the ex-housemates have chosen Alec, Joj and Jai, and Roy to be a candidate for the “Big Jump to the Big Night.”

The 3 will be facing physical challenges in order to win a slot in the Big Night.

Meanwhile, viewers will be given sufficient time to evaluate their bets as the seven housemates are up for eviction this week to prepare for the “BFF at the Big Night,” which will be held at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Malolos, Bulacan on July 7.

To determine the voting public’s judgment more accurately, Big Brother has brought back the “Power of One” system that allows a single SIM card to send only one vote per day to save a housemate. The housemate who will get the lowest percentage of votes will be evicted from the PBB house this Friday (June 29).
