Anne Curtis Starts Shooting Movie with Derek Ramsay and KC Concepcion

Anne Curtis has started shooting for her upcoming movie with Derek Ramsay and KC Concepcion titled Nothing Compares To You under Viva Films.

Anne said in an interview with ABS-CBN news that she prepared a lot for the film because she wanted to create a distinction between her character in this film and her blockbuster movie No Other Woman which also starred Derek.

Anne also revealed that Nothing Compares is a movie that a woman of her age can relate to unlike in No Other Woman which something a married woman can comprehend better.

"Parang frenemies ang concept, very very light and charming. Maganda 'yung storya kasi for me if No Other Woman was something married women can relate to, this is something women our age can relate to.”

Aside from Derek and KC. Anne Curtis will also be working with Jaclyn Jose, who will be playing Anne's mother in the movie. Jaclyn Jose had already worked with Anne in several projects like the series Dyosa.Jaclyn Jose revealed a little about her upcoming role.

“Mommy ako ni Anne, para silang magkaibigan. Ang conflict sa akin, asawa ko si Mark Gil, mayroon siyang ibang pamilya. Hindi ko pa alam kung paano ie-execute pero simple lang iyon.”

John Lloyd Cruz spotted at Angelica Panganiban’s condominium, kissing!

Are the rumors true about John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban’s supposed brewing romance?

Despite Derek Ramsay's denial about having a "third party" as reason why he and Angelica Panganiban broke-up, and the silent treatment of John Lloyd Cruz, the rumored third party, in the issue, news about the brewing romance between him and Angelica continues to surface.

In a report by PEP writer Demai G. Sunio-Granali, Lloydie has been seen visiting Angelica in her Quezon City condominium after the Derek-Angelica separation was made public.

According to a source, who frequents the Quezon City condominium of Angelica, he has been seeing the actor in the same area these past few weeks.

On a separate occassion, another source tells PEP.ph that John Lloyd was spotted at the condominium lobby either picking up or dropping off his fellow Kapamilya star.

There have earlier reports abot them being spotted together.

On May 2, a Twitter user named @mommieangelove claimed that he/she has seen John Lloyd and Angelica getting romantic in a public spot within the actress’ neighborhood.

Angelica and Derek were even mentioned in some of the tweets:

“@IAmDerekRamsay we have videos of angelica and lloydie kissing... dont deny if its bcoz of 3rd party... she is not worth to live with...

“@IamAngelicaP we saw u kissing w/ lloydie... how come derek stil protect u for not saying of any 3rd party... i am disappointed, u hurt him!”

In an effort to appease the situation, Derek even replied: “@mommieangelove angel did a movie with [jlc] in Vietnam where they had scenes like that. Work is work. Take care.”

Needless to say, these public sightings of John Lloyd and Angelica together cannot confirm whether their supposed hookup had caused the demise of their previous relationships.

But could they mean that the two actors, who are coincidentally starring in an upcoming movie for Star Magic’s 20th anniversary, are no longer just partners for reel but in real life as well?

Derek Ramsay Confirms 6-Year Relationship with Angelica Panganiban is Over!

Kapatid star Derek Ramsay admitted on Twitter this morning that the rumors about his break-up with Angelica Panganiban is true.

Derek Ramsay finally put a period on speculations about his relationship with Angelica Panganiban by saying on Twitter that they are “no longer together.”

“Guys we truly appreciate all ur concerns. Even though angel and I are no longer together we still have the utmost respect for one another.”

Prior to his admission, rumors that the couple is having relationship problems and that they are in “cool-off” stage came out.

There were also reports linking her ex-girlfriend Angelica Panganiban to John Lloyd Cruz (who recently broke-up with Shaina Magdayao) because they are doing a movie together.

On the other hand, a third party was also being blamed on Derek’s side and she’s Kapuso actress Sam Pinto.

But Derek said, “Walang may kasalanan dito.”

He asked the public, specially netizens who are posting speculations on his Twitter account @IAmDerekRamsay, to “stop with the assumptions” and respect their “decision.”

Derek Ramsay confirms break up with Angelica Panganiban

Actor Derek Ramsay himself confirmed that he and Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban had parted ways for now. Derek revealed to Yahoo! OMG that they were in a cool-off stage right now.

“We are in a cool-off stage. We’re giving each other space.” Derek relayed to Yahoo! OMG over the phone on May 2.

Derek and Angelica never had the chance to talk to each other since Holy Week when Angelica left for Vietnam with John Lloyd Cruz for the shoot of the Star Magic movie while Derek took a vacation in Australia.

Last month, rumors about Derek and Angelica's break-up surfaced after reports of Angelica being linked to John Lloyd and Derek to sexbomb Aifa. This was intensified by Derek not thanking Angelica in his acceptance speech during the 43rd Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Entertainment awards where he was hailed as the Box Office King.

Today, after confirming that they had called it quits for now, Derek was quick to say that there was no third party involved saying that she trusted Angelica completely, being not the type who will fool around. However, Derek did not divulge the real reason why their relationship is on the rocks.

Some speculates that the real reason for Derek and Angelica's break up, if not the third party was Derek's decision to transfer to TV5. Angelica, who was in Vietnam when Derek decided to shift networks said that her now ex-boyfriend did not tell her about it. She just knew it in the news although she expressed support to Derek's decision after her return from shooting abroad, saying that if Derek finds happiness in his decision, then she will give her all-out support.

Above all this issue, Derek expressed his intentions to talk to Angelica to iron matters out if their busy schedules permit.

“If things go well, okay. But if not, she will always be my friend,” Derek declares.

If this is really the end of their 6-year relationship, then what a sad news to hear. We hope they can straighten things up and talk about their problems to save their relationship.

Derek Ramsay is now a certified Kapatid; signs three-year exclusive contract with TV5

Isa nang Kapatid si Derek Ramsay!

Three-year exclusive contract ang pinirmahan ni Derek sa TV5.

Ginanap ang contract signing sa Edsa Shangri-La Hotel ngayong gabi, April 10.

Present sa contract signing ang TV5 executives na sina Atty. Ray Espinosa (CEO and President) at Mr. Perci Intalan (Head for Creative and Entertainmen). Kasama naman ni Derek ang kanyang talent manager na si Jojie Dingcong.

Ang unang magiging programa ni Derek bilang isang Kapatid ay ang reality show na The Amazing Race Philippines.

THE DECISION. During the contract signing ay nakapanayam ng media si Dere k at sinagot niya ang mga katanungan kaugnay ng kanyang desisyong lisanin ang ABS-CBN at lumipat sa TV5.

Ayon kay Derek ay matagal bago siya tuluyang magdesisyon na lumipat na ng istasyon.

“It took a long time… half a year, actually,” sambit niya.

Ano ang naging turning point sa naging desisyon niya?

“A weighing scale of which decision to make.

“You know, I think I proved my loyalty to ABS two years ago when I was being offered to transfer but I signed a contract for two years.

“For me, siguro, change is always good and I think I’m at that point in my career when it’s time to change.

“I think it’s that point in my career when I like the project na ginawa ko.

“Pero iba ‘pag papasok ka sa trabaho, ‘tapos there’s something talaga that feels your passion, your interest.

“And TV5 was giving me projects or offers that’s close to the passion that I have.

“So, I’m really excited to do that [and] that’s what pushed me to make that decision." paliwanag ng hunky actor.

Derek Ramsay confirmed to transfer to TV5!

Derek Ramsay is transferring to TV5.

This is what Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, said in a statement sent to Yahoo! Philippines OMG and other media outlets.

The statement reads, “Derek Ramsay has decided to transfer to TV5. For months, ABS-CBN has exerted efforts to make him stay as a Kapamilya. TV5, however, offered him an amount that was difficult for him to refuse.  We thank Derek for the many years he has been with ABS-CBN.”

In an interview with the members of the media during the press conference of his Star Cinema movie “Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang,” Derek confirmed that his contract with ABS-CBN expired last February and he’s waiting for an offer from the Kapamilya network.

“Yung gusto ko, sariling kusa. So I want it to come from them. Ang trato ko sa ABS is pamilya, so manggaling na lang sa kanila kung ano ang gusto nilang ibigay,” he explained.

A few weeks after, in an exclusive interview with Yahoo! Philippines OMG! last March 14, Derek said he’s not looking for a “certain number” from the offer. Instead, he wants “to see how the efforts I’ve done are appreciated” and that he wants to do projects that “I’m passionate about.” The actor also confirmed that he already received an offer from ABS-CBN at that time.

Derek is rumored to host the Philippine edition of “The Amazing Race” on TV5.

A controversial and scandalous photo circulating on the web of Angelica Panganiban grabbing what seems to be the “inside” of boyfriend, Derek Ramsey’s underwear. This was allegedly taken by a friend of the two. What do you think? Photoshopped? I’m thinking not.

According to PEP.ph, Ramsay told The Buzz, “I will not deny it. I know that the picture was taken in Boracay with a group of friends just having fun [two or three years ago].” Ramsay doesn’t believe that one of their friends sold the photo.

He added, “The only thing that I worry about that picture is Angel, of course; she’s a girl. Angel and I are very happy. [We’re only human.] Sometimes, especially with our job, we like to get out and we’re there to enjoy. When we took that picture, the least that I expected was for it to become a cover of a newspaper.”

Ramsay believes Pinoy Parazzi just did its job. “[It’s not hurting other people.] You just have to look at it in a funny way.”

Pinoy Parazzi Editor-in-Chief Raimund Agapito told The Buzz that the photo had been offered to other publications but only Pinoy Parazzi bought it. He refused to name his source. “[I am] constitutionally guarded.”

However, lawyer J.T. Leonardo Santos said the couple could pursue legal steps against Pinoy Parazzi. “Although it is your right to publish whatever expression you have, whatever freedom of speech you have, you must exercise it in good faith. Obviously, you’re not in good faith if you know [that you will hurt someone if you publish that photo.]”
