Here Comes The Boom, the movie that has Charice in the cast, is going to be released October 12 (U.S.). It is topbilled by Salma Hayek, Kevin James and Henry Winkler.

Directed by Frank Coraci, the movie tells the story of a high school biology teacher who sidelines as a mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to save the school's music program.

Charice Tries Her Luck in ‘Kapamilya Deal or No Deal’

International singing sensation Charice is set to spot the ‘x factor’ among Filipino talents as one of the celebrity judge-mentors in the biggest musical event “The X Factor Philippines.”

But before she picks the next singing superstar, she will first try to pick the right briefcase that contains the P2 million this Saturday (June 23) in the hit game show “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.” In a rare TV appearance, Charice enthusiastically deals with the Banker and plays around with host Luis Manzano. Despite her experiences performing before large international crowds, Charice can’t help but succumb to the tension brought about by the game. Charice Gets 2nd Tattoo to Mark Heartbreak!

Pinay international singing sensation Charice Pempengco acquired a new tattoo which says "I never knew true love until someone broke my heart." The said tattoo on the right arm of Charice was her second after the tattoo on the left saying "Love Eternally."

In an interview with TV Patrol on Monday, May 14, Charice said that whenever she acquired a tattoo, there's always a meaning.

"Actually it's a true story but I'd rather not tell the story. I know a lot of people kapag nabasa nila 'yan makaka-relate. Again talagang kapag naglalagay ako, may meaning. When I put something like this there's a meaning," Charice said.

"It's part of me. It's part of the look and everything. Let's just say it's an accessory," she added.

Charice, who returned to the country to be part of the upcoming "The X Factor Philippines," said that she got her new tattoo in Los Angeles.

Charice's 2nd tattoo says "I never knew true love until someone broke my heart."

In the interview, Charice was once again asked about her sexuality.

"I don't care whatever you think. As long as my fans love me and support me forever, I'm good with that," she said. "Whoever stays with my until the end of my career or whatever, those are the people [who trust me]. The others that still have doubts, questions, who are confused... I will understand."

Charice stressed that she never had a change of image, and that her look now simply shows her real personalty.

"What you see right now is the real me. What you see before wasn't me. A lot of people around me like in the US, like in here, they didn't know what I really want. They were deciding for me. Like they were deciding, 'let's do this, let's gonna do that, do the curly hair.' I didn't get the chance to decide for myself," she explained.

"Now that I'm being so independent, while it's early, I really, really want to tell all the people that I don't care if you hate. I don't care if you don't like it," she added.

Charice said what is important is that she's really happy.

"I'm extremely happy. Unbelievable. Like I could cry, I could cry because I'm going out in public showing my tattoo, showing my hair, showing my outfit. I feel more free," she said.

Charice is the 3rd Official Judge-Mentor in ‘The X Factor Philippines’

Charice calls herself “GWAPITO,” openly lesbian now?

After that huge transformation of her looks last month, where she sported a shorter do and a tattoo on her arm, another surprising “clue” suggests that Charice may be leaning on being a lesbian.

Her Bio on Instagram says:

“I am weird. I love everybody. Again, I am….Gwapito :D" says international singing sensation Charice on her instagram account.

Confirmed: Gary Valenciano is the 3rd Judge/Mentor of The X Factor Philippines

Mr. Pure Energy himself, Gary Valenciano confirmed that he is one of the judges in the forthcoming reality talent competition, The X Factor Philippines. The said competition is a franchise of Simon Cowell's The X Factor.In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Gary Valenciano shared his excitement to be part of the hit talent competition in a press conference for his upcoming concert series which will start this April 12, Thursday at the Music Museum.

"I'm flattered talaga na pinili ako bilang isa sa mga judges. X Factor kasi iba din yon. Yung X factor na yon, kaya siya X di mo masasabi kung sino ang may X na yon. Maaaring sasabin ng tao what does the X stand for? We don't know but it's all going to be seen. It's going to be experienced and interpreted in the contestant's own way and the judges will see that. Yung tipong di ko alam pero ang galing noon, yun ang x-factor."

Gary said ABS-CBN really found the right judges for the show.

"They chose the right judges. You even have Charice. Some people say: 'What? Charice?' But Charice is international. Isnt' that what every artist want to be – international?"

He also said he will be firm in finding the contestant who deserves to win.

"I will be looking at everything because it's not just the talent, because a person can have a lot of talent but if that person doesn't have a right character that person comes and goes. Especially now, nandiyan na yung Twitter at Facebook you can know the artist in a very personal way. So it's not just the talent that I will look at and I will be very firm,"

The Philippine version of The X Factor will be hosted by actress-singer KC Concepcion, who has been going around the country for the show's auditions.

Charice's New Hairstyle Inspired by Final Fantasy!

This week, Charice surprised us all with her blonde look and new tattoo. The international singer's new look gained several reactions from fans and even made others think that Charice has gone out of the closet. According to reports, Charice's new hairstyle was inspired by the PS3 Japanese video game, Final Fantasy, which is Carl's (Charice's younger brother) favorite video game.

Charice, while at the dressing room for her Infinity concert at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum, told his younger brother how much she had missed him.

"See this, Carl. This is how much I have missed you, brother. I colored my hair and styled it like this because of you. Final Fantasy is your favorite game. This is the only way I can be close to you everyday, even if we are apart!"

Charice’s hairstyle spanned criticisms and several reactions from fans although fans from overseas welcomed and appreciated her new blonde look which is anime inspired. Well, Charice's popularity in Japan might also serve as a reason but the Pinay international sensation exclaimed,

“I guess they have to blame my love for my brother for sporting this kind of hair,” she said with a girlish giggle in a Philstar interview.

Charice pays tribute to Whitney Houston at Infinity concert!

Despite her new edgy look—short blonde hairdo and a tattoo on her left forearm—Charice performed soulful ballads that made her famous.

The Manila leg of her Infinity tour took place last night, March 9, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. On March 11, she will perform anew at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel.

The group will bring the concert to Hong Kong on March 19, and will be in South Korea by March 21.

In her opening spiel, Charice told the crowd: "I'm so nervous. A few months ago, I was here with David Foster.

"I feel very proud right now. I'm performing on my own here at the Araneta Coliseum."

She later admitted: "Charice Live at the Araneta is a dream come true. I love you all, but kayo ang pinakamahirap na audience. I get nervous when I perform in front of my fellow Filipinos."

SEEN. KC Concepcion was spotted at the Big Dome.

The young singer addressed KC: "Ate KC, I'm so excited to work with you. Yes, I'm one of the judges. It's going to be amazing!"

Charice is reportedly the only female judge in X Factor Philippines, which will be hosted by KC on ABS-CBN.

Wearing a leather vest, fingerless gloves and tattered black pants, her first song was "With or Without You."

This was followed by Journey's "Faithfully" and "One Day," which was written by Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.

Then Charice went backstage and gave up the floor to her bandmates. Troy Laureta, musical director of the concert, performed a medley of "Ordinary People" and "The Way You Look Tonight."

At the start of her career, Charice sang covers of Whitney Houston songs. At her major solo concert, the Filipina singer paid tribute to the music icon who passed away on February 11, 2012.

She told the crowd, "This is a tribute to the Queen of Pop," before giving a heartfelt performance of "Saving All My Love For You."

The young singer also performed Adele's "Someone Like You," as well as a ballad version of Justin Bieber's "Baby."

Charice to judge “The X Factor Philippines;” also rocking a new short blonde hairdo!

International singer Charice will judge The X Factor Philippines! She’s also looking very Japanese on this new hair do!

Philstar columnist and Charice’s godfather Bum Tenorio revealed it in his March 4 article entitled “Meet the ‘Chasters’” where he wrote:

“I also told them [the Chasters] that Charice would be the only female judge in the local version of the worldwide hit talent search, X Factor, on ABS-CBN.”

Bum talked about his experience in Japan with the All Japan Chasters (AJC) which has 20 official officers and thousands of unregistered members. The columnist also revealed that there’s a possibility Sunshine Corazon, Charice’s Glee character, will return to the hit Fox show.

But if there’s more the Chasters should be happy (and praying) about, it’s the news about the ongoing plans for a musical film version of a Broadway musical that Charice is being tapped to play the lead of.

Any guesses on what Broadway show it could be?

In-demand makeup artist Juan Sarte stressed that the photo of international singing sensation Charice on the cover of the January 2012 issue of Preview magazine was not digitally altered.

"Charice for Preview Behind the Scenes video. Eto ang pruweba. Hindi po yun Photoshop," Sarte said via microblogging site Twitter late Monday, providing a link to the video.

Footage of behind the scenes during the magazine's photo shoot was already uploaded and generating views on YouTube.

Behind the cover shoot were photographer Marc Nicdao, hair stylist Buern Rodriguez, Sarte and fashion stylist Liz Uy.

After all much speculations, here she is finally. Charice aka Sunshine Corazon returns on Glee after a long hiatus. She only appeared once before on the popular tv show’s second season premiere episode back in September.

This particular episode, Episode 17: “A Night of Neglect" is set to air tomorrow on Fox, April 19, 2011 in the US and here in the Philippines, April 20, 2011 at 4PM on ETC and Jack TV.

GLEE SPOILER: Charice Will Appear On The 7th Episode!

Everyone’s been patiently waiting for Charice (Sunshine Corazon) to reappear on the second season of Glee. We all got excited when we saw her on the pilot episode but it’s been forever and finally we get to see her on TV's most popular show.

Reappearing on the 7th episode entitled “The Substitute,” Charice will be performing Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me.

We probably saw her perform this a gazillion times, including her actually singing it with Celine Dion in one of her concerts 2 years ago. I would’ve prefer if she sang a different song though.

UPDATE: WEll it appears she hasn’t appeared on the said episode but rumors again has it that she will be returning on the SuperBowl episodes. Feb 2011!

Everyone just got excited to see our very own Charice debut her character on Glee, Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino foreign exchange student. Well, what can I say, she didn't disappoint. I believe many of you would agree as she even made it to Twitter's trending topic!

On Glee's first episode of this second season entitled "Auditions," Charice battled it out with Rachel Berry with their own sing-off rendition of the popular song "Telephone" by Beyonce and Lady Gaga.

Charice's next performance was her audition for the Glee club where she sang Listen by Beyonce.



Charice not only proved she was a great singer, but an awesome performer and actress as well. Charice, once again, you've made us all proud to be Filipinos.

A recent series of photos have been circulating online showing our beloved Charice's appearance on the upcoming season of Glee. On the 2nd season of the popular musical TV show, Charice plays a foreign exchange student who is set to rival Rachel Berry.

Her charcter, Sunshine Corazon (worst name ever!), will already appear on the first episode entitled "Auditions."

The second season of Glee premieres on September 21, 2010 in the US on FOX and September 22, 2010 in the Philippines via ETC and Jack TV at 4 p.m.

Charice Is Joining Glee! And YES it's OFFICIAL!

This time it's for real! Charice recently confirmed on her twitter account that she, in fact, is joining the cast of Glee next season as foreign exchange student. Entertainment Weekly reports she will be playing Rachel Berry's nemesis.

Earlier this month, Charice denied rumors that she will be joining the hit show.

MANILA, Philippines - International singing sensation Charice has denied reports that she is going to be part of hit US musical series Glee.

In her Twitter page, Charice said: "I just want to let you all know that it's not true that I'm going to be on Glee... How I wish! Haha.”

She added: "LOL. Rumors!!! I am not going to be on Glee..Haha...That's really funny. I didn't know about the Glee (role). Hahaha, until I saw Perez's blog. This is really confusing."

Charice's was reacting to a newspaper report, claiming that her Philippine manager Grace Mendoza has bared that she will be joining the next season of Glee.

The pop star said she has no idea about her manager's statement. She added that her manager could have been confused.

The country's pride even posted the tweet of her mother, Raquel Pempengco, stressing that Ms. Mendoza has denied the report.

"From mommy > FYI- The rumors that Charice appears on GLEE show is not true, I talked to Ms Grace Mendoza, Charice's handler, she had no idea."

Charice who is now in Japan for a photo shoot for her album cover, appealed to her fans to forget the reports about GLEE.

"Okay, erase it! No Charice on Glee. aryt? hahaha!," Charice said.
