UAAP 75 Games postponed on July 21 due to bad weather

University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) has just released an announcement that the seniors basketball games scheduled today, July 21, will be postponed due to bad weather.

Adamson University (ADU) Soaring Falcons and University of the East (UE) Red Warriors are supposed to play game 1 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena later today, followed by a game between the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons and the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers.

UAAP stated in the announcement that they are postponing the game for the safety of the players and patrons of the league.

Tickets for the said games will be honored upon confirmation of the final venue and date.

Here is the Official Announcement from the UAAP Board of Trustees:

"Please be advised that due to inclement weather, the UAAP Board of Trustees has decided that the seniors basketball games scheduled for today, July 21, will be postponed to a later date, with the best interests and safety of our players and patrons in mind. Ticket arrangements for the affected games will be honored upon confirmation of the final venue and date."

FEU defeats UST in UAAP 75 opening thriller

The Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws defeated the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers 73-72 in their first encounter in UAAP Season 75 at the MOA Arena on July 14.

UST was ahead 31.6 seconds left in the final quarter, but FEU was able to steal the ball and passed it to RR Garcia, Vice Ganda’s Rumored boyfriend, who delivered the goods, made the winning shot, to bring his team on top by a single point 7 seconds left before the buzzer.

An attempt by UST to win the game did not prosper as Aljon Mariano missed a potential game-winning tear drop shot.

The first game for Saturday’s double-header was a lopsided one as the National University (NU) Bulldogs routed the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors with a very wide margin, 90-55.

ABS-CBN Sports said replay of NU vs. UE will air Saturday night, July 14 at at 8 p.m., followed by a replay of the FEU vs. UST game at 10 p.m. on BALLS SkyCable Channel 34.

VIDEO: UAAP Players in the most awkward “Call Me Maybe” cover yet

On possibly the most awkward and cheesy cover of the summer hit "Call Me Maybe," the UAAP Season 75 basketball players from different teams unite to make a supposedly fun cover. That didn't transpire here apparently. In my opinion, the bad editing is to be blamed here.  And some didn’t look like they had fun shooting this.
